बार-बार बेवक्त आते हैं,करते है परेशान हमें सताते हैं

खुद भी सोते नहीं वो कभी,ना हमें कभी सोने देते हैं।।

bother us and torment us.

He himself never sleeps,

nor does he ever let us sleep.

नाम मिला ना कभी अंजाम मिला,तलाश अभी अधूरी

अज़ान वो ख्वाब है अहसास है,मिल जाए तो मुराद पूरी।।

The name was not found, the result was never found,

the search is still incomplete.

Azaan is a dream, a feeling,

if you get it then your wish is fulfilled.

लोग कहते हैं बड़ा समझदार है वो,जाने क्यों बेवकुफ बन जाता है

बिना रुके बिना थके चलता है वो,मीठी बातों में उल्लू बन जाता है।।

People say he is very intelligent,

don’t know why he becomes a fool

He walks tirelessly, without stopping,

and becomes an owl in sweet talks.

अपनी बहुत चलाते हो,समझ क्या रखा है बहानें बनाते हो

आज तुम्हारी चलने नहीं देंगे,सच कहते हैं चुप रहने नहीं देंगे।।

You use your power too much,what do you mean by it? You make excuses.

Will not let you walk today, tell the truth, will not let you remain silent.

दर्द देकर भी दिल को सुकून देती है

हालत बुरी है रोज अच्छी सजा देती है

तबीयत भली चंगी मालूम होती है

सारे झगड़े खुद करके रोती है।

Gives peace to the heart even after giving pain

The condition is bad, every day gives good punishment

Health appears to be in good health

She cries after all the fights herself.

तुम मेरी जरुरत एक पहेली,साथ में यह मीलों की दूरी

कोई समझाए उनको एक कदम,आगे बढ़े तमन्ना पूरी।।

You are a puzzle to me,

these miles together

Someone should explain to them one step forward,

their wishes will be fulfilled.

रात भर नींद नहीं, दिन भर चैन नहीं है

कोई तो ढूंढ के लाएं,बला क्या है कोई समझाए।।

No sleep all night,

No peace all day

Please find someone and bring it,

what is the problem, please explain.

कहने को एक पहेली हैं, किमती बड़ी समय की सहेली

जी लो जी भर कर यारों, ना जाने दोबारा कब मिलेगी।।

She is an enigma,

a precious long time friend.

Live to your heart’s content friends,

शायरी में मेरी पहेली है, और

ज़िन्दगी आपके बिना अकेली हैं

सुझाव दो हमें इस पहली का

लगता है जोर से,आवाज आती नहीं।

life is lonely without you

It seems loud, but no sound comes.

उसको कोई तकलीफ़ नहीं जानता है वो फनाह होने वाला है

देता है दर्द ज़माना उसका दुश्मन वहीं फूलों का रखवाला है।।

He doesn’t know any problem, he is about to be destroyed

The world gives pain, its enemy is the keeper of flowers.

खुबसूरत हूं लेकिन गुलाब नहीं हूं,

एक इमारत हूं लेकिन ताज नहीं हूं

सब कुछ हूं मैं,पल में कुछ भी नहीं हूं

तेरे बजूद में हूं लेकिन तू नहीं हूं।।

I am beautiful but I am not a rose,

I am a building but not a crown

I am everything, nothing in the moment

I exist with you but you are not there.
