Baatein or shayari

(बातें और शायरी)

बातें और शायरी एक दूसरे से ज्यादा अलग नहीं आप छ्न्द बद्ध तरीके से बातें करो तो वही शायरी का रूप लेकर डायरी में बन्द हो कर अमर हो जाती है और गीतकारों का गीत बन जाती है-

सोचता हूं शुरुआत तो होनी चाहिए बातों में किस्से कहानी होनी चाहिए 

मतलब ना बदल जाए मेरी बात का इस बात पर शायरी होनी चाहिए ।।

I think there should be a beginning,

there should be stories in things.

The meaning of my words should not change,

there should be poetry on this matter.

है इरादे मेरे निहायती नेक,सिर्फ लबों पे बातें तेरी

तुम मेरी उम्मीद हो,तेरे आने से लौट आए सांसें मेरी ।।

your words are only on my lips 

you are my hope,your arrival

brought back my breath.”

ना कोई बहाना है मेरे पास,जो रूठ जाऊं तुम से मैं

सारी हसरतें तुम से है, तेरी बातों में खुद को भुल गया मैं ।।

“I don’t have any excuse get angry with you

All my desires are from you, I have forgotten mysely in your words.

तुम करीब रही और तेरी बातों ने इस बार हमें मोह लिया

तुम्हारी मोहब्बत का असर है जो “राज” दिल का खोल दिया !!

it is the effect of you love that has revealed the ‘secret’ of the heart.”

मैंने इबादत करना नहीं सीखा, बातें बनाना जानते हैं हम

दिल में बेसुमार मोहब्ब्त है मेरे,सच कहना क्या जानतें हो तुम ?

“I have not learned to pray, we  know how to make things

l have a lot of love in my heart, do you know how to tell the truth.”
